Be part of Light up a Life on Sunday 6 December 2026 at Compton Hall.
Gather around the beautiful Tree of Light with lights shining in memory of loved ones, and enjoy the seasonal activities and refreshments.
Everyone is welcome at Light up a Life, which serves as a beautiful symbol of love, hope, and remembrance. The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
The event takes place between 12.30pm – 2.30pm, with a ‘Coming Together’ ceremony at 1.40pm.
At the heart of the event is the Tree of Light, where you are invited to write personal dedications on tags to hang on the Tree, as well as a Remembrance Room featuring a Book of Remembrance and screens with a slideshow of photos in memory of loved ones.
There will also be the opportunity to take part in activities led by our Spiritual Care team and to connect with staff from across Compton.
Our on-site coffee shop, Crumbles will be serving a selection of seasonal food and drink, all set to a backdrop of reflective live music.
Pride of place at Light up a Life is the Book of Remembrance, featuring your dedications in memory of those who hold a special place in your heart. The Book will be on display at the event alongside a slideshow of photos you share of these loved ones.
