Take on this incredible challenge in 2023 and join #TeamCompton in conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 30th September 2023!
In just 12 hours you will be summiting the Three Peaks of Pen y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, experiencing breath-taking views of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks are situated in the Pennine range, with spectacular views of the River Ribble, ascending 736 meters.
#TeamCompton will be led by experienced mountain guides, Sky Blue Adventures, helping you to complete this challenge within 12 hours. Along the scenic 24-mile route, you’ll experience endless moments of spectacular views offered by the Yorkshire Dales.
This trek will involve a varied terrain, with steep ascents and descents, so this challenge is not to be taken lightly. Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks is an opportunity to channel your willpower, test your fitness and tap into your determination. Your time and dedication will be rewarded with incredible views and the greatest sense of accomplishment.

Please note: Transport to and from Yorkshire Three Peaks, personal trekking equipment and water is not included.
Itinerary:
06:30 – Meet Sky Blue Adventures team at Horton in Ribblesdale
07:00 – After a team briefing, commence first climb of the day on Pen y Ghent
08:20 – Reach Pen y Ghent Summit and enjoy the views
12:00 – Stop for lunch and fuel up
13:30 – Arrive at Whernside Summit
16:30 – Reach Ingleborough Summit
19:00 – Arrive back in Horton-in-Ribblesdale
Fundraising Information:
A £30 deposit will be taken on registration to secure your spot on this challenge! We will then ask you to fundraise a minimum of £300 for Compton Care. Please note £45 of your sponsorship will cover the remainder of your registration fee.
£300 could fund the equivalent of two day-care service sessions, which provide short-term care for people who need support during the day between 7.30am to 9.30pm. These sessions provide support with personal care such as shaving, changing clothes, washing, brushing teeth, toileting, pressure area care and changing dressings. The day-care service sessions also support with making snacks and drinks, blending food if needed and feeding patients where required. They also provide emotional support. The simple gesture of a hug or a handhold, sharing a smile over a cup of tea means a lot to our families through their most difficult times.
