Be a Hiking Hero

Let's make strides together

Compton Care and Wolves Foundation have joined forces for an unforgettable Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by Sunrise trek this summer.

Taking place on Sunday 2 June, the funds raised from this event will be split equally between both charities to support our vital work in different communities across Wolverhampton and the Black Country.

The hike, which is being led by Sky Blue Adventures, will start at 1.45am along the Llanberis Path, reaching the summit at around 5am in time to enjoy breath-taking views during the golden sunrise.

Join us on this special trek and help us make strides together to support our local communities.

Compton Care

Vicky's story

As a Hiking Hero, you will be helping Compton Care continue to be there for people with life limiting conditions and their families when they need us most.

Vicky took part in Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by Sunrise last year in memory of her mom, Joyce.

Compton Care holds a very special place in my heart as my beautiful mom, Joyce, was under Compton’s care and I will be forever thankful. To anybody considering signing up I would say just go for it! I think it’s good to push yourself and get out your comfort zone!
Wolves Foundation

With participants ranging from one month to 100 years old, Wolves Foundation’s work is delivered across the city, all year round improving the physical and mental health, personal development and life choices of people across Wolverhampton.

People like John, who benefitted from its Head for Health project.
